Evergreen Garden Care launch the biggest range of Peat Free growing media in Europe

At Evergreen Garden Care, we are committed to helping gardeners grow their own green oasis while protecting the environment. That’s why we are proud to introduce the launch of the largest range of Peat-Free growing media in Europe. As gardeners move to peat free alternatives, we have made this transition as simple as possible, offering alternatives in brands they recognise across all their growing needs. 

 

The new peat free range delivers quality results, without the compromise, with products to satisfy the special needs of every plant type. Expertly formulated at Levington research centre, the range is created with patented technology, Fibre Smart, which is wood fibre infused with organic nitrogen. Miracle-Gro and Levington Peat Free is packaged in 100% recyclable materials. At Evergreen Garden Care, we are actively working on improving the responsible sourcing profile of our compost mixes year on year and we have increased the recycled plastic content in the peat free compost bags to 60%. These efforts have the ultimate aim of reducing waste and allowing gardens to flourish in the most sustainable way possible. 

 

The launch of this range is a continuation of our ongoing focus on sustainability. Over the past 30 years, the company has restored and donated more than 3,000 hectares of peatland in Somerset, Yorkshire and Lancashire. In partnership with nature experts and conservation bodies, the company has been responsibly restoring peatlands ensuring best practice in terms of land management and restoration. The overall aim is to guarantee that wildlife can continue to thrive in these environments.

 

We are also excited to announce the launch of two new lawn care products to our Miracle-Gro portfolio. New Miracle-Gro® Evergreen Natural 4in1 is a 100% natural version of Miracle-Gro® Evergreen Complete 4in1. The formula doesn’t compromise on quality, delivering with first visible results in seven days and taking only four weeks for lawns to become thicker and greener. The second new launch is Miracle-Gro® Thick’R Lawn, which is designed and proven at Evergreen Levington Research Station to make lawns 50% thicker after just one use and in just one month.
