Recycled rubber enjoys an exciting ‘next chapter’ within Primeur’s Eco Garden collection

Since its launch in 2017 Primeur’s Eco Garden range has helped to repurpose millions of rubber tyres, with over five million being recycled in 2021 alone.

From stepping-stones to garden borders, decking tiles to self-watering Tierra Verde planters, it comes as no surprise that Eco Garden has scooped countless industry awards and is winning the hearts and minds of eco-conscious consumers who also enjoy the range’s virtually indestructible structure. Unlike other traditional garden products, Eco Garden products will not crack, fade or rot.

Here, the Primeur team tells us more about the 2022 additions set to join the benchmark-setting Eco Garden range, and also reveals details of an exciting new product introduction that will switch up the decking category in the coming season.

New garden border designs

Eco Garden’s garden borders have proven to be a valued seller, with consumers enjoying the flexibility and ease of use that enables them to transform lawns and planting schemes within a matter of hours.

Drawing on the success of the bestselling Carolina border design, the 2022 season will see the introduction of the new Maryland design.  Available in grey and earth colourways, the Maryland border draws its design inspiration from traditional log roll with a more geometric edge. Unlike its wooden counterpart, however, the new Maryland border also boasts a significant number of environmental and application benefits. Like all Eco Garden products, the new Maryland border is designed to last and is also backed by Primeur’s proven merchandising display units to drive sales in-store.

Flamenco planter

With gardening proving more popular than ever, Primeur has extended its Tierra Verde collection of self-watering planters. The latest addition is the all-new Flamenco planter. Drawing inspiration from the traditional urn shape but with a contemporary twist, the Flamenco planter represents an entirely new style within the Tierra Verde offering.

Available in crowd-pleasing ‘slate’, and standing at 55.5cm tall, this is a planter that commands attention and will appeal to those shoppers who want to add impact around gardens, patios and front doors.

New horizons for decking

The latest innovation from Primeur – MultyDeck™ – extends not only the company’s recycled rubber collection, but it also enables garden retailers, DIY retailers and builders’ merchants to expand their offering to consumers with a fool-proof way to create new decking areas.

MultyDeck™ is a multi-functional deck board installation option. Designed to be a cost-effective alternative to traditional decking, the innovative design allows for decking to be laid quicker and much more easily, giving users a multitude of applications. Ideal for generation rent as well as around the garden to create new seating areas paths, and greenhouses and allotment floors to name but a few uses, MultyDeck™ enjoys an array of residential and recreational uses and is representative of an exciting new chapter for decking within garden retail.
