spoga+gafa changes to Tuesday start in 2025

spoga+gafa is reacting to the industry's wishes and is changing its schedule. From 2025 onwards, the trade fair will no longer start on a Sunday, but will in future begin on Tuesday and end on Thursday. The dates for 2024 will be 24 to 26 June 2025 in Cologne.

The majority of the national and international exhibitors as well as those visitor groups and associations approached asked for the schedule to be changed and as such for the Sunday to be excluded as the arrival or trade fair day. Starting on the Tuesday allows the participants to prepare themselves more readily for the trade fair and optimise their arrival.

"We have taken the feedback of our exhibitors and visitors seriously and decided to alter the schedule to further improve the trade fair experience and the trade fair success of all parties involved," said Sebastian Rosito, Vice President Trade Fair of Koelnmesse.

The 2024 edition of spoga+gafa that ended just recently once again confirmed its position as the most important platform for the global garden industry. A good 28,000 trade visitors from 113 countries took part in the world's biggest garden and BBQ trade fair from 16 to 18 June 2024. Hence, the trade fair built seamlessly on the success of the previous year.

On altering its schedule spoga+gafa remains true to its claim to be the central platform for the global garden and BBQ industry and on making this change is demonstrating its flexibility and customer orientation.
