Plant feed continues to dominate sales

Garden Product Top 50 sales volumes are 4% ahead of 2019 levels on a year to date basis but for the month of April they were 24% down on last year, on a par with April 2019.

Plant feeds dominate the Top 50 with only one garden decorative line in the Top 50.  The focus really is on growing in the garden at the moment rather than relaxing.  Hopefully that will come on tap as the weather warms up and people start planning for the Jubilee long weekend.

Highlights of the week were:

  • Evergreen Garden Care Levington Tomorite 1L + 30% Free stays at No 1 and Evergreen Garden Care Levington Tomorite 1L + 20% Extra Free joins it at No 2 moving up 4 places this week.
  • Westland Fish Blood & Bone 1.5kg is the highest chart climber of the week, up 13 places to No 17.
  • Smart Garden’s 12 inch Coco Liner Twin Pack is the highest new entry at No 38.
