Midsummer Cotswolds car rally to raise funds for Greenfingers

The Greenfingers charity is holding a Midsummer Car Rally to raise funds for more gardens for children in hospices.

You will be able to join the Greenfingers team for a classic/modern classic car navigational scatter around the beautiful Cotswold countryside on Sunday 19 June. The day will start at 9am from Studley Green Garden Store, near Stokenchurch in Buckinghamshire where drivers can ‘fuel up’ with a bacon sandwich and coffee/tea.  The rally will then take in points of interest during the day, finishing in the delightful village of Ascott Under Wychwood, where participants and their supporters will enjoy a delicious barbecue at The Swan at Ascott.

Registration will cost £100 per car, to include breakfast, refreshments, barbecue and goodie bag for one driver and one passenger. Additional passengers, or guests wishing to join drivers for the bbq at the end of the rally, will be charged £25 per person.

Proceeds will go to the charity’s A Million Moments appeal, which aims to raise £1 million over three years to bring the precious gift of a garden to a further 5000 children, and their families, who spend time in hospices across the UK.

To register, email the name and address of your principal driver and the names of your passengers, plus your email address, a contact phone number and the type of car plus registration number, to this address.

Cheques payable to Greenfingers Charity can be sent to: Greenfingers, 23 Gregories Road, Beaconsfield, Bucks, HP9 1HH.
