Fleeces and rakes see an upsurge in sales

Garden lights are benefitting from Christmas sales with five lighting lines in the Top 10 this week. Perhaps some of the battery operated garden lighting lines are being purchased for use indoors over the festive period, but ‘ho,ho, ho’ they are all extra sales.

As colder weather moves in from the north four fleece lines increase sales in the top half of the chart and as trees turn a leaf rake appears in GTN Bestsellers for the first time this year.

The main highlights this week were:
  • Growth Technology Orchid Pot Clear 12cm was the highest climber, jumping 23 places to No 18.
  • Woodlodge Pot Feet Large was the highest re-entry at No 16.
  • Gardman Leaf Rake was the highest new entry at No 27.
  • Other new entries included Smart Garden Battery Operated Coloured Glass Light Bulb, Nortene Fibre Fleece and Hozelock 360 Degreee Mini Sprinkler.
  • Fito Drip Feeder For Orchids 32ml retained the top spot.
