LeisureGrow appoints new Head of Pet for Petface

LeisureGrow Products has strengthened its management team with the appointment of John Pullen as Head of Pet to oversee its Petface brand.

With more than 20 years’ experience in the pet products industry, and with experience spanning retail category management and product innovation across pet foods, treats, and accessories, John will be well-known to many customers already.

John joins LeisureGrow from his latest role at Kennelpak. He was previously Purchasing Director at Jollyes Petfoods Superstore for seven years.

Jody Grimmer, Managing Director for LeisureGrow Products, said: “We’ve built a strong basis for Petface with great stock availability and reliable delivery, and we’re looking forward to working with John to take Petface to the next level.

"We have some exciting new developments coming up in the next 12 months and we’re confident John will be the right person to tackle the challenges of the industry and help Petface realise its potential.”

John Pullen said: “I’m excited about this new challenge. I’ve been a client and a supplier so I’ve had experience of both sides of the pet retail space and I know just what it takes to create a successful brand that delivers on its promises to customers and consumers.”
