Garden lighting reaches new highs

As last year the warm summer evenings of July spark a huge increase in volume sales of garden lighting products.  While overall Top 50 volumes are down 20% year on year for the week, garden lighting sales match last year and climb 31% on the previous week.  This year there are a record sixteen garden lighting lines in the Top 50, over 30% of sales.

  • Smart Solar’s Eureka! Neo Light Bulb Lantern that comes in clear, blue, or pink is the highest placed lighting line at No 5.
  • Premier Decorations Coloured Led Pull Light & Bulb, a favourite for hanging under parasols moves up 5 places to No 7.
  • The Lustra Gazing Ball providing garden mood lighting from Smart Garden Products (above) was the highest new entry at No 27.
  • There was also high demand for plant food.  Scotts Miracle-Gro All Purpose Soluble Plant Food, 500g, saw a huge sales increase to re-enter at No 1.
