GARDENA unveils new showroom as part of multi-million pound investment

Husqvarna Group, the global leader in gardening tools and mowers, and home to renowned brands GARDENA and Flymo, has launched a showroom in the North of England’s largest and most sustainable logistics facility.

The showroom is part of a multi-million pound investment in the 602,000 sq ft warehouse within Maersk’s state-of-the-art logistics complex in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.

With a capacity for more than 64,000 pallets, the move will strengthen GARDENA’s customer service and supply chain efficiency due to its space, location and excellent transport links.

Howard Scott, GARDENA UK Country Manager, said: “Our investment in this new facility reflects our dedication to putting the customer at the heart of our operations.

“By enhancing our warehousing and logistics capabilities, we are strengthening our ability to respond quickly and effectively to the needs of our growing customer base.”

The partnership with Maersk, a leader in sustainable logistics solutions, will help reduce the company’s environmental footprint as the complex is built to BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ standards and incorporates energy-efficient systems.

Premchandar Ramachandran, Regional Head of Maersk Contract Logistics Europe and IMEA, said: “As a global leader in logistics services, our newly built facility will allow us to better connect and simplify supply chains for our key customers such as Husqvarna Group.

“Providing their key brands; Flymo and GARDENA, with a space to showcase their product range to a variety of stakeholders, is a prime example of the success such partnerships can create.”

The new UK showroom will showcase Flymo and GARDENA’s pioneering products and serve as a central hub for training, product demonstrations, and hands-on experiences for employees, retailers and partners.

Housing the complete ranges, the interactive showroom is designed to inspire and educate stakeholders as well as mark Flymo’s 60th anniversary of its iconic hover lawnmower.

The showroom offers an opportunity to highlight the iconic brand’s impressive journey, showcasing its innovation, growth, and ongoing product development while honouring its rich heritage.

Sarah Bentham, GARDENA UK Marketing Manager, said: “This venture is a great opportunity for our customers to get hands on with products and truly understand why Flymo and GARDENA are market leaders.

“Allowing our team to provide insightful and interactive sessions ensures that our stakeholders are truly motivated and invested in the brands.”
