April ends on a high but it's still an average sales month

 

The last week of April, the second of the Easter Fortnight, was the best week 17 for volume sales since 2011. It was up 18% on last year but that could only help overall April sales to just below last year and almost spot on the average for April over the past nine years...

With just over one month to go until Commercial Kitchen 2019 – the UK’s only dedicated kitchen equipment, services and design show – the cream of the industry is gearing up for what looks set to be the show’s biggest and best edition yet. Reflecting its strong industry backing, the 2019 event, which takes place on 4-5 June at the NEC Birmingham, boasts 12 association partners, with many of them also set to host dedicated Keynote sessions.

Award-winning Hydrangea to feature in 2020 catalogue
 

Wyevale Nurseries has announced that the RHS Chelsea Plant of the Year for 2018 will feature in its 2020 retail catalogue. The company potted a small trial batch of Hydrangea ‘Runaway Bride Snow White’ for 2019 and only has about 300 left for retailers but a large quantity will be available in 2020.
