Woodstock Chimes founder and owner, Garry Kvistad, created the first windchime tuned to specific musical notes. In the 1970s he was fascinated by the scale of Olympos, a musical scale from the 7th century B.C., that couldn’t be played on modern instruments. GCA Ruxley Rose finalists revealed
The Garden Centre Association has announced the names of the finalist garden centres in its Ruxley Rose competition. The 20 centres all received top scores in the spring bedding and hardy nursery stock categories from the GCA’s spring inspections and have now been put through for autumn judging.
Cowell’s Garden Centre are a finalist in the Garden Centre category.
