Plant sales still running 8% up year on year

Plant sales volumes have slowed through October into November according to the GTN Bestsellers Plants Chart analysis. October sales volumes were 2% down on last year.

However, overall plants sales for the year are still running at 8% up.  Not bad for a year when March and April were so bad!

  • Cyclamen continue to dominate at the top of the chart.
  • Gaultheria move 6 places up the chart to No 12.
  • Houseplants continue to sell well. Fittonia’s re-entered the Top 50 at No 29.
