We love gardening
GTN Bestsellers Epos data analysis

Garden centre sales had another great week in the run up to Valentines Day according to the Epos data supplied for GTN Bestsellers.  Sales were up by 36% on the same week last year and 51% up on 2019.

So far this year, total garden centre sales are way ahead of last year when we had Lockdown #3 in place, but also 34% ahead of pre-pandemic levels in 2019.

Of course, until the arrival of storms Dudley and Eunice, the weather has been particularly good for gardening and visits to garden centres so we wait to see how week 7 sales fare.  It’s fair to say, however, that when the weather in is our favour their really is more love for gardening in 2022.
