This well known mail-order brand that sells direct to their loyal customer base via catalogues and the web is looking to ensure their brand, values & culture are clearly articulated, communicated and understood across all commercial & non-commercial activities, by internal staff, external agencies and their customers. In order to do this they are seeking a Brand Manager whose job it will be to manage the content for the mail order catalogue, email, website, social media and advertising campaigns they produce.

The Role

In essence for this job you need a strong desire to create the number one brand in the market place. With a drive to constantly improve your overall commercial skills, knowledge of the market place in which you work and the execution of best practice within your role.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Ensure all internal and external stakeholders understand and support the brands' objectives and plans for achieving them.
  • Develop & deliver marketing plans and projects.
  • Ensure timely implementation of key projects including new product launches and commercial plans.
  • Manage all brand specifications and promotional activities, point of sales and stocks.
  • Conduct market research to determine requirements for existing and future products.
  • Manage the marketing budget and deliver marketing activity within agreed budget.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a proven background in B to C, business to consumer marketing, ideally with experience of e-commerce within the Fresh, Horticulture or Garden Centre sectors.
  • Have a strong academic background ideally to degree level in horticulture, business or marketing.
  • Be a fluent communicator both written and interpersonal.
  • Have an interest or desire to work in the horticultural sector.
  • A creative flare and great eye for detail.
  • Full UK Driving License and own transport.
