Lava-Lite is named the Midlands Green Start-Up of the year winner at the final of the Start-Up Awards National Series.
The Start-Up Awards National Series debuted this year to highlight the dynamic startup scene across the country that skyrocketed during the pandemic.
The awards were judged by a panel of prominent judges, including successful entrepreneurs such as Stefania Pellegrino of Purely, Tom Walker of Holy Moly Dips and serial entrepreneur Piers Linney.
The company said: “The Green Start-Up award recognises start-ups developing products, processes, or services that are resulting in significant environmental improvements. We are committed to making a real difference to protect the environment as all our products are completely non-toxic, pH neutral and they do not emit any toxins or contaminants. They are also 100% natural and biodegradable, meaning they can be dug into the ground to help give soil the nutrient boost it needs.”
