New gardeners are looking for summer colour, so much so that Echinacea, Cyclamen, Dianthus and Chrysanthemum all increased sales by 70% or more to dominate the GTN Bestsellers All Plants sales chart.
Between them these 4 groups of plants accounted for almost 30% of the Top 50 Plants volumes.
Echinacea were the No 1 Bestselling plant of the week with sales up by 200% on last week. The first time Echinacea have been at No 1.
Dianthus dropped one polace to No 3, but still saw an increase of 70%
Chrysanthemums moved up 4 places to No 4.
