Flowering plants and veg lines buck the trend
Footfall may have been down for the first week of February, but sales of brightly coloured flowering plants and Veg-2-Gro lines bucked the trend with increases of over 20% week
on week.

As the GTN team have been out and about in garden centres this week we’ve witnessed trolleys full of planted spring baskets and containers being pushed through tills. It seems that every colourful item available is being snapped up to decorate patios, balconies and front doors, especially if it’s a really good offer.

What are your early spring plant offers?  re you using early plant offers to drive sales as well as coffee shop offers?
