Better than Beast from the East...just!

Plant sales were washed away during February, ending the month down 35% compared to last year.  The silver lining was, however, that sales were 9% higher than February 2018 when the month ended in the grip of the Beast from the East.

  • Primula sales continue to dominate at the Top of the GTN Plants chart.
  • Zonal Geranium plug sales increased by 32% to push them to be the No 5 Bestseller.
  • Dianthus sales increased dramatically to climb 21 places to No 6.
  • All Plants volume sales change: Week on week DOWN 7.5%.  Year to date vs 2019 DOWN 16.8%, vs  2018 UP 10.0%.
