Veg-2-Gro chart reveals it’s salad and BBQ days

As Veg-2 Gro plant sales tail off it’s salad plants that sold well last week.

Lettuce plants of Lollo Rosso, Lollo Biondi and Iceberg all moved up the chart with big sales increases. As seeds start to feature in the Top 50 again the other big movers are larger herb plants, perhaps bought to plant and use around barbecues.

The main highlights this week were:
  • Scotts Miracle-Gro Gro-Ables Basil Seed Pod was the highest new entry, jumping straight to the top spot.
  • Quantil Lettuce Lollo Rosso was the highest re-entry at No 6.
  • Quantil Carrot Chantenay Strips was the highest climber, jumping 43 places to No 4.
