After 48 years of service, on February 28th John Molloy will retire as Managing Director of Erin Horticulture Ltd. John held numerous roles at Erin starting his career in 1967.

In 1994 John was appointed Managing Director and has held the role since then. John will continue to support the business on a consultancy basis going forward.

Leisuregrow Group is pleased to announce that James Spillane has been appointed as John’s successor, as Managing Director with immediate effect.

James has more than 20 years of national and International experience in both the Food and Horticulture industries.  Most recently he held a senior commercial role at Valeo Foods and previously was Commercial Manager at Bord na Mona.

Richard Grimmer, Group Chief Executive, thanked John for his service and commitment to the business over the last 5 decades, stating: “John has seen the business through thick and thin and has always delivered on his commitment to quality and reliability”.

In relationto  the future he commented: "Our horticulture business is a strategically important part of Leisuregrow Group. I am delighted to announce the appointment of James as Managing Director. His breadth of experience will be invaluable to us as we seek to grow and develop the business”.
