Darlac Sees Records Tumble!

Darlac, the cutting tools experts, have announced record sales in June following the 3 months of garden centre lockdown.

Sales were an all-time monthly high and were 45% higher than June 2019 as pent up demand saw sales soar in stockists.

The company also added some 25 watering product customers as garden centres “discovered” the range while there were 16 new stockists for the already popular cutting ranges in the month.

Tim Jeffries, Darlac Managing Director said; “We are so pleased for the support given to us by our stockists as we came out of lockdown. Like everyone we had to fight to keep trading during the period, while keeping our staff safe, but we stayed open to service any centre that kept retailing through online and click and collect services.

"We are now seeing unprecedented demand but still keeping close to our service levels of delivery next day or only a day or two delay.

"Thanks to the garden trade we are back on track to have an acceptable year”
