Pelargoniums are the Plant of the Month for May
Pelargoniums are the plant of the month for May, holding the No 1 spot for all of the past 5 weeks, sellling almost 3 times as many as the second ranked plants in the GTN Bestsellers chart for weeke ending May 22nd.




GTN Bestsellers aggregates Epos data from UK garden centres to produce weekly charts of bestselling products and plants.  Products are ranked individually but Garden Plants are grouped together by their genus to account for the 100's of varieties and pot sizes.

Notable changes in the Top 20 this week are:

  • Dahlias moving into the Top 20 with a 50% week on week sales increase.
  • Dianthus moves up 3 places to No 11 after a 28% increase.
  • Fuchsia's saw the biggest % sales increase of the Top 5, up 14%.
