Veg plant sales continue to struggle

Veg plant sales continue to be the most hit plant sales area as a result of the late start this year.

 

Our GTN Bestsellers Top 50 index now sits at 24% down year on year.

 

Highlights were:

  • Nursery Fresh Plants Strawberries in 9cm pots hold on to the No 1 spot for the third week.
  • Quantil Runner Bean White Emergo Strips, last year’s No 1 Bestseller at this time of year, stay at No 2.
  • Farplants Tomato Tumbling Tom Red, 1 litre pots, are the highest new entry at No 23.
