Guy Topping says thanks for messages of condolence following the sad passing of his father Eddie

Guy Topping has thanked GCA members for all the messages of condolence following the passing of his father Eddie at the age of 89 on September 6.

“It has really helped to bring back the real Eddie after a few months/years of the elderly Eddie,” he said.

“It is times like this that I am yet again reminded what a remarkable industry we are part of.”

On Tuesday, September 28, Eddie’s coffin will rest at Barton Grange Garden Centre from 1.15pm to 1.45pm for the paying of respects.

The funeral cortege will leave the garden centre at 1.4pm and travel through Bilsborrow and Barton, pausing at Barton Manor Hotel en route to a private family cremation.

This will be followed by A Celebration of his Life at St Lawrence’s Church, Barton at 3.30pm. All are very welcome. The celebration will be live streamed (for instructions follow the link on Eddie’s obituary page at:www.greghodgkinsonfunerals.co.uk

No flowers please. Donations may be made in memory of Eddie to Cancer Help (Preston) Ltd, c/o Greg Hodgkinson Funerals of Garstang.
