Get popping or nibbling with new sweetcorn range

The Burpee Europe team are popping with excitement about their new sweetcorn range!  Whether you like to pop or nibble your corn, these varieties will bring colour to your garden, kitchen and popcorn bowl!

This major new range of sweetcorn for 2022 has been bred in the US by our partners Crookham & Co. The varieties have been tested extensively in the UK and the Netherlands and produce some of the finest sweetcorn available in the world today.

Ornamental Corn 'Fiesta'
This traditional “Indian” corn produces kernels with a kaleidoscope of hues in blue, red, yellow and white. Its superb for  autumn decoration!  It matures approximately 10-14 days earlier than other ornamental corn.  These stunning cobs average 18-25 cm in length.

Popcorn Corn 'Robust'
Although seldom grown in Northern Europe, popcorn can perform very successfully across most of the continent. ‘Robust’ is the best variety for adaptability across a range of climates and has attractive bright yellow-orange kernels. It must be dried for 3 to 4 weeks before cooking but is otherwise easy and fun to prepare. Popcorn should be kept away from sweetcorn to avoid cross pollination.
