September gardening starts with a boom

With better weather September garden product sales have got off to a flyer, up by 20% week on week and almost 10% higher than all other first weeks of September as recorded by GTN Bestsellers.

Planting in pots continues to drive sales. There are 16 pot related lines in the GTN chart this week. And lawn care looks set for a good Autumn season with eight lawn care lines in the GTN Top 50.

Highlights of the week were:

  • Woodlodge Large Pot Feet are once again the No.1 Bestselling volume Garden Product line.
  • Elho’s Riviera Grow Pot Terracota 17cm is the highest new entry at No 18.
  • Evergreen Garden Care Evergreen Complete 360 sq m + 10% Extra Free more than doubled sales to re-enter at No 7.
