Henchman debuts first television advertisement

Henchman, the leading provider of specialist ladders for home gardeners and professionals, has unveiled its first-ever television campaign, launching an exciting new advertisement in partnership with Sky.

The advert’s ‘man versus hedge’ plot follows the story of David, a typical home gardener determined to conquer an unruly hedge - with the help of his trusty Henchman ladder.

David is faced with the chore of cutting his hedge, now he has a problem of how to cut it safely on the uneven ground in his garden. Not finding a suitable solution, he pauses, has a cup of tea, and then we see him on a different day looking happy as he walks on scene with his new Henchman tripod ladder.

Offering customers the only BSI EN131-certified tripod ladders on the market, Henchman’s Fully Adjustable Tripod Ladder range features advanced safety features including non-slip platforms and rungs, sturdy tripod legs, and secure hedge-proof locking mechanisms, which ensure users can work with confidence at any height. As David takes on the hedge, the advertisement shines a spotlight on how every gardener needs a set of Henchman ladders to get tasks at height done safely!

“The Henchman story began 30 years ago,” says Owen Simpson, managing director of the company. “Since then, we have grown from a small family business to leading ladder specialists, and we’re incredibly proud to help keep both professional gardeners and home gardeners safe while working at height.”

“We are so excited to launch our first TV campaign which we hope viewers will find both entertaining and informative, demonstrating the many benefits of our multi award-winning range.”

"It’s pivotal time for the business, having recently won several prestigious awards for our Fully Adjustable Tripod Ladder and launching the new Henchman Lifting Harness, so this investment into wider marketing activities marks a significant milestone for us as we continue to expand our company reach and showcase the safety and reliability of Henchman Ladders to a broader audience.”
