Daphne 'Perfume Princess' named best new ornamental

Daphne 'Perfume Princess’,  grown by Wyevale Nurseries and bred by New Zealand-based Mark Jury, was named Best New Ornamental Plant Variety in the recent Horticulture Week Business Awards.

'Perfume Princess’,  licensed by Anthony Tesselar, has larger blooms and flowers up to eight weeks earlier than Daphne odora, continuing to bloom longer that all other daphnes.  It has a distinctive citrussy perfume and is relatively quick to grow.

Wyevale Nurseries sales and marketing director Adam Dunnett  said ‘Perfume Princess’s  multiple breaks formed a full looking shrub that flowered reliably for re-sale in its second year.

Reading this would lead you to believe that the identity or variety name is Perfume Princess. They even go to the point of saying that 'Perfume Princess's' multiple breaks formed a full looking shrub. The possessive of a Trademark?
