The Pot Place Garden Centre - An Ambulance for Ukraine

In the last few weeks members of staff from The Pot Place Garden Centre have made two journeys to take aid for Ukranian refugees being cared for in a village they have connections with in Poland, thanks to the fantastic fundraising efforts and donations of staff, customers and friends.

They now want to support the Ukrainian emergency services who are doing an incredible job helping both civilian and military casualties. A number of organisations have already taken ex NHS ambulances to Poland for onward shipment to Ukraine. The Pot Place Garden Centre wants to do the same and have made the contacts to do so.

They just need your help to raise £9,500 for the vehicle. "Our garden centre will pay for the servicing, insurance, documents, fuel and ferry to get there and flights to get back. We have volunteer drivers too and together we will make this happen," explained Paul from the Cumbrian garden centre.

Donations can be made at the garden centre or via their Just Giving page. https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/the-pot-place-ambulance-to-ukraine?utm_term=4x4b7AgeW
