Manure gives a boost to growing media sales
Ground preparation for next spring is the order of the day for growing media sales now with three large bag lines of manure in the GTN Bestsellers Top 5.
Combined sales of those lines increased by 8% in a week where the Top 50 growing media sales volumes dropped by 22%.
This week’s highlights were:
- Westland Gro-Sure Rose, Tree & Shrub Compost & 4 Month Feed (50 litres) was the highest re-entry at No 19.
- Scotts Levington Ericaceous Compost 50L was the highest climber, jumping 20 places to No 10.
- Scotts Levington Multipurpose + John Innes (56 litres) retained the top spot.
