Garden centres share The Sun's Prettiest Rose glory

The Sun newspaper has announced the results of its Prettiest Rose Competition run through garden centres across the country.

 

  • First Prize (£1,000) went to Maggie Philippson, who won a First Prize at Ayletts Nurseries, St. Albans, Herts
  • Second Prize (£500) was won by Sarah Mansfield, who won her First Prize at Scotsdales, Cambridge.
  • Third Prize winner  (£250) was Rowena Beckwith , who won a First Prize at Bambridge Garden Centre, Hants.

There were also three Highly Commended entries, each winning £100:

  • Elizabeth Aubury at Fresh @ Burcot Garden Centre, Bromsgrove
  • Tom Youells at Millbrook Gravesend, Kent.
  • Stephanie Backley at St. Peter’s Garden Centre, Jersey
