Goulds at Weymouth to double size of restaurant

Dorset garden centre Goulds at Littlemoor near Weymouth is to double the size of its restaurant.

It will expand into the adjacent space currently occupied by a conservatory showroom and will provide 168 covers.

Dorset Council has approved the application, which will see the two buildings linked together with a kitchen, wash-up and servery in the centre of the combined building.

Goulds says full-time staffing will increase from eight to 10 and  part-time jobs from seven to 13.
