Taylors plant a tree for every employee as part of The Queen’s Green Canopy – “Plant a tree for the Jubilee”

The staff at Taylors Bulbs have been busy planting trees for the Queen’s Green Canopy to celebrate Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee.

To mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022, there is a tree planting initiative called The Queen’s Green Canopy – “Plant a tree for the Jubilee”.

Taylors Bulbs thought it would be a lovely idea to join in with this initiative and so decided to plant “A tree for every employee”.

On 25th March 2022, the management and staff of Taylors Bulbs took time out from their daily work to plant 150 trees on their site in Holbeach. Each member of staff planted their own tree (with a few extra being planted for good measure!) with Oak, Lime, Wild Cherry, Hawthorn, Dogwood, Rowan and Silver Birch being planted.

Adam Taylor, director of Taylors Bulbs said: “We thought it would be a lovely idea to join in with the initiative and for our staff to take an active role. As Royal Warrant Holders, we wanted to celebrate Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee and we hope the trees our staff have planted today will help to enhance our local environment and be a fitting way to mark the occasion.”
