Footfall drops in the heat…

 

As our GTN Bestsellers graph above shows, overall sales volumes (a key measure of footfall) have now dropped below last year for all three weeks of July as the heat takes it’s toll of shopping in general.

 

People are spending more time in their gardens as a result and that must be why plant sales volumes are now up on last year for 14 weeks in a row.  Hooray for our plant sales teams who are doing a terrific job keeping their plants looking so good!
