Handy Distribution rolls out range of Greenworks cordless garden-machinery across Dobbies centres

Handy Distribution has announced the roll-out of a new comprehensive range of Greenworks 24v and 40v cordless garden-machinery across all Dobbies Garden Centres.

Greenworks is one of the world’s largest manufacturers developing cutting-edge garden machinery and featuring the latest-generation Lithium-Ion battery technology.

The large 40v cordless range provide petrol-matching performance, with no fumes or starting-problems; and far less noise and vibration.

Liz Brennan, Senior Gardening Buyer for Dobbies, said: “We are delighted to be able to expand in this category. We are seeing a significant shift toward cordless machinery and the new Greenworks display in our stores highlights our commitment to exceed our customers’ expectations by giving them quality product at competitive prices.”

“It’s important Dobbies is ahead of market trends. When compared to Ni-Cad and lead-acid units, our offer delivers improved durability, longer run times and much faster charge-times plus they don’t suffer from power-fade when not in use.”

The Greenworks range is extensive, comprising all the essential gardening equipment, from lawnmowers, strimmers, brush cutters and hedge trimmers, through to blowers, chainsaws and much more, all of which have been designed and built to the exacting standards retailers and consumers worldwide have come to expect from the innovative pan-global brand.

Another benefit of the Greenworks range is that these are one-battery-fits-all machines. All machines in the Dobbies range are supplied with battery and charger, making it is possible to run every product in that voltage bracket from the same battery.  Having a second battery enables the user to effectively have endless power due to the quick one hour charge time.
