Bruce’s scoops customer service award

Dog day care company Bruce’s secured the Best Customer Service Award at the 2021 Surrey Business Awards, capping off a stellar year for the business.

Bruce’s strong commitment to its customers, including opening during the lockdown months to care for the dogs of key workers, was recognised by the judges for going above and beyond.

As part of its dedication to its customers, Bruce’s has developed its own bespoke software application to support their needs. The app allows customers to book sessions remotely and receive updates on how their dog is progressing at day care, alongside useful advice and tips.

Going the extra mile to understand what makes each dog different has led to a 98% customer satisfaction score in their recent customer feedback survey. This extra attention to detail resonated with the judges and saw Bruce’s claim the award.

Despite disruption caused by covid-19, Bruce’s has continued to go from strength-to-strength, opening new sites throughout the South-East. Having started with two sites in 2019, Bruce’s now has eight with further growth plans for 2022.

Bruce Casalis, founder of Bruce’s, said: “Winning Best Customer Service is a real testament to the brilliant work that our staff have been doing to support our dogs and their owners through what has been a difficult year.

“The pandemic created extra challenges for the business to overcome, but I’m delighted with how the team responded. To be recognised for this and to win against some incredible local companies is an honour and I can’t wait to celebrate the hard work and dedication of the entire Bruce’s family.”
