'Orse Racin' gets GCA Conference off to a head start

Those clever folk a Woodlodge really pulled out the stops to create an afternoon and evening of "real" indoor 'Orse Racin' at Luton Hoo, the venue for this years GCA Conference.

Almost 100 garden centre and supplier delegates arrived at conference on Sunday to take part in the ninth Annual Greenfingers Challenge.

See our photo gallery below to see the results of the wooden horses, with jockeys, as they were reeled in by their winders.  As the evening progressed the Stewards had to intervene with more and more cases of attempted cheating and inevitable crashes caused by too much...

As ever the Greenfingers event created plenty of fun and most importantly raised funds for the Greenfingers Charity in it's 20th year.  We'll find out who wins the Greenfingers Challenge Cup, either Cabbages (suppliers) or Pansies (garden centres) on Tuesday night during the GCA Annual Dinner.

Huge thanks to Ian, Richard and Abbie from Woodlodge for a great evening.  Tally Ho!
