Jacksons 'boutique' Garden Centre celebrates 50 years

Jackson's 'boutique' Garden Centre in North Wales celebrated 50 years of business this year with fundraising activities and a celebration dinner.

Robert Kingham told GTN Xtra: "Our centre has been celebrating it's 50th Anniversary of the founding of the business by my wife's parents Stan and Marj Jackson.

"During all of our 50 years we have been fortunate to have increased our sales year on year, and this year so far has been our best ever.

"We held a dinner with entertainment for 170 staff, suppliers and friends.  It was wonderful to be able to thank all the hard working members of our team along with valued suppliers, some of whom have looked after us for many decades."

The anniversary fundraising activities included three community projects involving a local school, the church and the Trelawnyd Male Voice Choir.  In addition we were able to support NSPCC and St Kentigans Hospice, our two nominated charities.
