New Year plant sales are supercharged
 

Plant sales have got off to a supercharged start of the year. GTN Bestsellers Total Plant Sales index shows sales up by 13% on last year and 36% on 2018 early year levels.

 

Highlights of the week were:

  • Primula sales almost doubled as they dominated at No 1.
  • Coprosma were a high placed re-entry at No 7.
  • Indigofera was a surprise new entry at No 10 with Indigofera himalayensis ‘Silk Road’ 3L the biggest contributor.
  • All Plants volume sales change: Week on week UP 67.2%.  Year to date vs 2019 UP 13.1%, vs  2018 UP  35.7%.
