AMES UK goes the extra mile for Greenfingers

Colleagues from Kelkay, Apta, La Hacienda and True Temper stepped out last Friday in support of Greenfingers and clocked up an incredible one million steps.

Sarah Winn, Marketing Director, said: “We thought it would be a great idea to encourage everyone to take an hour or two out of their day to raise money for Greenfingers. It was great to see so many people challenging themselves to add extra steps to the target and there was some friendly competition amongst the teams. Overall, it was a great achievement and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves, albeit separately due to the social distancing rules.”

Paul North, Managing Director added: “We are proud to have such a dedicated and ambitious team at AMES UK so I guess I should not be surprised to see them absolutely smash their step target on the Garden Re-leaf day challenge. Personal achievement and wellbeing of our people is at the very core of AMES UK business strategy and events like Garden Re-leaf present a great opportunity for us all to focus on our physical and mental health whilst raising money for such a great cause.”

AMES UK doubled their donation to £2000 for Greenfingers in recognition of the extra ordinary achievements of the team.
