GIMA confirms awards judging panel

A panel of expert judges has just been announced to include buyers from top garden centres as well as consumer and trade press for this year’s GIMA Awards.

Recognising excellence in new products, marketing support and export achievements, the 2018 GIMA awards will presented at the garden industry’s annual gala dinner, 12th July, at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, South Wales.

Judges include Colin Dale, head of plants and gardening at Notcutts, Mairi Devlin, head of garden trading at Wyevale Garden Centres, Mike Lind, managing director of Monkton Elm, Caroline Linger head product buyer at Crocus, Caroline Owen, managing director of Scotsdales, Neil Pope, editor of Garden Trade News, and Adrienne Wild, gardening editor & columnist for the Sunday People and Woman’s Weekly, who will all make their decisions as part of a private judging day in June.

Those not already entered are being urged to do so before the closing date of 25th May 2018.  Each separate entry costs £80, or £40 for GIMA members.
