VegTrug has announced the promotion of Richard Diaper to Operations Director.

Richard has worked for the company for eight years and is the youngest member on the VegTrug board, having just turned 30.

He started on the logistics support side of the business and in his new role is now responsible for overseeing all business activities at VegTrug’s Colchester offices and warehouse.

Joe Denham, CEO of VegTrug, said: “Having worked with Richard now for almost a decade, Richard has proved himself an extremely mature and capable member of staff. The responsibility that we have given Richard is a true reflection of his work ethic, passion and dedication to our business. I have no doubt that Richard will do extremely well in his new role and I am looking forward to working with him for years to come.”

With VegTrug continuing to grow as a business, their philosophy has always been to promote from within. Richard is looking forward to getting started in his new role. “VegTrug has been a fantastic company to work for since I left university. It has been a joy working with Joe and Paul over the years and I am grateful that I can continue to work with them in my new role. I have developed and learnt so much and anticipate this to continue further as I settle into my new responsibilities this year.”

VegTrug will continue to grow their business strongly in 2022 in the UK and through their direct subsidiaries in Germany and the USA. Look out for new product launches and and ideas which will as ever be presented at Glee 2022.
