Pink Kisses are a big sales winner


Dianthus Pink Kisses and Orchids were the two big plant sales winners during Mother’s Day week.

The first deliveries and great displays of Pink Kisses contributed to a 113% increase week on week while Orchids were the last minute gift of choice, seeing sales increase by over 150%.

Overall plant sales dropped by 8.3% week on week.

Other big movers in the GTN Bestsellers Plants Top 50 Chart include:
  • Orchids moved up 16 places to No 12.
  • Azaleas also make a big move up the chart, 14 places to No 23.
  • Calibrachoa, Campanula, Gerbera, Argyranthemum all re-enter the chart for the first time this year.
  • Fressia are the highest new entry at No 47.
