BHETA and GIMA to hold Meet The Buyer with Stax

BHETA is working with GIMA to host a Meet the Buyer event with Stax Trade Centres.  The event will take place on Tuesday 26thApril at the Worsley Park Marriott Hotel, Manchester.

This speed networking event allows potential suppliers to meet with a key garden and home improvement / DIY distributor, in timed 25-minute appointments.

The event is being held with the full buying teams who are interested in meeting with new, potential suppliers looking for a distribution solution.  It should be noted that they do not wish to see any current suppliers.

The Stax team is interested in meeting suppliers from the following categories:

BBQs & Garden Furniture, Garden Sundries, K.D Furniture, Garden Tools, Garden Chemicals, Bird & Pet Care, Garden Power, Watering, Garden Plastics, Landscaping Products, Water Features, Garden Décor, Garden Care, Propagation, Pots & Planters, Plant Support, Garden Clothing.

Home & DIY

Car Care, Housewares & Christmas, Paint, Appliances, Electrical, Lighting & Batteries, Household Chemicals, Plastics, Cleaning Materials, Doors & Ladders, Plumbing, DIY, Interior Decorating, Hand Tools, Power Tools, Workwear, Ironmongery, Hardware.

Potential suppliers are encouraged to focus on product features and benefits, together with cost price proposals.

Stax distribute and supply to over 50,000 businesses right across the UK on both a delivered wholesale service and a cash & carry wholesale basis. Six branches spread across the UK, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Bristol, Edinburgh & Glasgow, stock more than 45,000 product lines from over 1,000 top trusted brands.

The price of taking part is £60 plus VAT per appointment for GIMA & BHETA members and £120 +VAT per appointment for non-members.

Chief Operating Officer of BHETA, Will Jones commented, “It’s great to be working with GIMA on a really good opportunity for suppliers not already working with Stax.  As ever, we expect a big turn out.”
