Onion sets and shallots boost Veg-2-Gro sales

As we move into February it has been another week of sales growth for seed potatoes, up 22%, and onions and shallots, up 15%.

Did you know that onion sets and shallots accounted for 38% of all Veg 2 Gro sales last week?

With that level of demand have you got them in a hot spot to maximise on impulse purchases? You’ll be crying if you miss out on the peak of onion sales this month.

The main highlights this week were:
  • Taylors Onion Sets Hercules F1 moved up to the top spot.
  • Taylors Seed Potatoes Taster Pack Rocket was the highest re-entry at No 15.
  • Taylors Seed Potatoes Nadine was the highest new entry at No 45.
  • Mr Fothergills Beetroot Boltardy was the highest climber, jumping 36 places to No 11.
