4% down but still ahead of last year

A 4% drop in Growing Media Top 50 sales week on week could be seen as disappointing, but sales are still way ahead of last year and 2019.

Compared to 2019 there has been 24% more volume of growing media packs sold from the GTN Bestsellers Top 50 lines than in 2019.

Highlights of the week were:

  • Evergreen Garden Care Levington Organic Blend Top Soil saw the biggest percentage increase in sales last week, up by 160% to re-enter at No 37.
  • Westland Multi Purpose with John Innes 10 litres climbed furthest up the chart to No 35.
