Growing media sales continue to be strong
 
The GTN Bestsellers Growing Media chart continues to shine with compost sales remaining strong. This week’s volumes were 4.6% higher than the previous week and 13.1% up on the same week in 2015 and nearly 22% up on 2014.

This week’s Growing Media star performers were:
  • The highest climber was GroWise Multipurpose Compost, jumping 16 places to No 28.
  • The highest re-entry was Westland Top Soil (25 litres) at No 33.
  • Two other Westland products were re-entries – Decorative Mini Bark (50 litres) and The Gardener’s Multipurpose Compost (50 litres).
  • Scotts Levington Multipurpose with John Innes (20 litres) also returned to the Top 50 bestselling items.
