New Botanica Houseplant department at Sunshine Garden Centre

Sunshine Garden Centre launch Botanica, their new houseplant department.

General Manager Eoin Keane says “We had seen the upward curve in houseplants for the past two years, so investing in updating the layout, fixtures and fittings was a decision made easy.  Sunshine Garden Centre which will be 30 years old next year has been built on the back of a reputation for excellent plants and a premium customer service experience so any investment in either of those two pillars of the business will always pay off.

Our customers and the Sunshine team love the new look, on the weekends the buzz in Botanica is electric.  The idea to brand our houseplant department came from the success of our Spring/Summer pop up cacti and succulent shop called Urban Spike.  Botanica has its own exciting new ranges of houseplants and pot covers which are being very well received, we’re selling everything from the tiny terrarium plants to the very large specimen pieces and the whole lot in between!

We now know our customers now want more houseplants than ever before and we always look to keep our customers happy!  Botanica enables us to do so in a fun way that everyone’s enjoying.
