Growing media sales may have dropped slightly week on week and were 17% down on the same week in 2020 but emphasising the increase in gardening as a result of the pandemic were 74% up on the same week in 2019.

Highights of the week were:

• Evergreen Garden Care Levington Essential Top Soil 35 litres was the highest re-entry of the week at No 6.
• Bloomin Amazing Soil Enricher 70 litres climbed 22 places up the GTN Chart to No 11.
• Westland Multipurpose Compost with John Innes 50 litres remains at No 1 in the Growing media Bestsellers chart for the third consecutive week.
