Easter records broken at garden centres across the country

At GTN we've just received the top line numbers for GTN Bestsellers up to Easter Sunday and as far as volume sales are concerned this years first Easter week was the best since 2015. We won't have data for Easter Monday until next week, when we will be able to report on the full Easter period analysis.

 

In the meantime, we've been asking centres how Easter was for them and their teams and did they break any trading records for Easter Monday.

Work starts on Europe’s largest living wall installation

 

McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Ashford announced that work has started on Europe’s largest living wall installation, which forms part of the centre’s £90 million expansion.Made up of approximately 120,000 plants, the 25,000 sq. ft. living wall installation is set to create a striking atmosphere in the centre, with beautiful vertical gardens covering the walls of the new entry promenade, various walkways and many of the new stores.
